Join the Climate Café on Oct 15th
Feeling climate anxiety? You’re not alone.
Recent polls show 80% of Canadians worry deeply about our changing climate—from soaring food costs to extreme heat and wildfire smoke. Yet, policy continues to lag behind reality.
Why the silence around our shared situation, and what can we do about it together?
It’s time to break through the climate silence. Climate Cafés provide a supportive, inclusive space where people of all ages can safely express their concerns, fears, and ideas. No expertise is needed, all perspectives are welcome!

Let’s chat about things that matter and what we can do to act together. See you there!
Climate Cafés began in 2015 in the United Kingdom, with much inspiration from the concept of Death Cafés. They foster a sense of community, enabling participants to collectively brainstorm and plan actions to address environmental challenges. They can help decrease the climate-related anxiety and isolation people may be experiencing, and they also offer space for people to share strategies for resilience and hopefulness.
These cafés are being held worldwide, across many countries and cultures. It is hoped that folks will come away with feelings of interconnectivity, ideas for better collaboration and a sense of empowerment to address the situations that face all of us. The experience across the Climate Cafe Network is that chat in a Climate Café often leads to exciting ideas, projects and collective action. They are a great place to feature and connect with local projects and initiatives, support new businesses and hear from others taking action.
