We had a great weekend at the Salt Spring Fall Fair Sept 18, 19 2021 having conversations about climate action with hundreds of islanders! Thanks for being there and to all the new folks who signed up for our newsletter!
Visitors to our double booth got to:
- Chat with our fantastic working group volunteers.
- See a heat pump in action and discuss the benefits of installing heat pumps with a Clean BC representative.
- Get to know Rob and Maia – our new Climate Action Coaches.
- Partake in a local knowledge map exercise to help break down silos.
- Take your photo as a Climate Action Superhero and discuss your biggest climate change concerns.
- Learn about upcoming rainwater catchment and home renovation rebates that save you money and help the environment.
- Meet some of our staff and board of directors.
- Enter the raffle for a rain barrel generously donated by Mouat’s Home Hardware.
