The CCFS Science Pub Series is BACK!
This fall and winter we’ll be exploring the elements – FIRE, WATER, EARTH and AIR – with local and visiting knowledge holders, scientists, storytellers, artists and historians. OcDark pub vibes, on-theme cocktails, live screen printing, house music and fiery surprises await attendees.
Fire origin myths, forest fire ecology, disaster management and climate resilience, historic local fires and more!
The CCFS Science Pub Series is a presentation of the Cumberland Forest Society. Our goal is to build knowledge, passion and connections in support of community climate resilience. And to have sexy nerdy fun doing it….
Tickets: $25 – 100% of proceeds support the work of the Cumberland Forest Society.
The 2023 / 2024 CCFS Science Pub Series is presented with support and collaboration from the Comox Valley Emergency Program.
