Please consider signing this e-petition spearheaded by MP Gord Johns, NDP fisheries critic, House of Commons official e-petition to stop the herring fishery. Petition closes March 12th 2020.

DFO’s draft herring IFMP (Integrated Fisheries Management Plan) which dictates the roe herring fishery for next March is supposed to come out early this week so masses of signatures would be an effective response! I can’t state enough the significance of this petition!! It takes a little longer than most petitions but it is a House of Commons one so it is valued more!
