Why Join Us?

  • Save money and reduce waste with practical, hands-on solutions
  • Connect with community in a welcoming, collaborative space
Earlier this year, nearly 120 community members braved the weather for Transition Salt Spring’s Rethink Waste event. From toasters to typewriters, guitar straps to leather jackets, over 100 cherished items were given a second life thanks to our dedicated volunteer fixers. By extending the useful life of our stuff, we not only prevent the need to purchase new products but also reduce the amount we send to landfills.
Our actions can make a difference, and when we come together with a shared sense of purpose and vision, we can do amazing things!
Let’s Dare to Repair—together.
